About us

Who are we?

450 professionals employing nearly 4,500 employees across the country carry out a public service mission in their capacity as legal officers.

Our purpose

Insolvency Practitioners (IP) are independent experts whose role, as defined by law, is to defend the interests of companies experiencing difficulties in order to safeguard employment.

The National Council of Insolvency Practitioners (CNAJMJ- Conseil national des administrateurs judiciaires et des mandataires judiciaires) monitors compliance with their obligations, organises their professional training and ensures that they comply with their obligation to maintain and improve their knowledge. Each year, the CNAJMJ reports on the fulfilment of these missions in a report sent to the Minister of Justice.
