Traineeship entrance examination
To register for the traineeship entrance examination, candidates must hold a degree (4-year bachelor's degree) in law, economics or management.

Once they have passed the traineeship entrance examination, candidates must then complete a minimum 3-year traineeship in a firm.
At the end of the traineeship, candidates sit the professional aptitude test, which allows them to take the oath if they pass
Once they have passed the professional aptitude test, candidates officially become an Insolvency Practitioner.
The Master's path is intended for holders of the Administration et Liquidation des Entreprises en Difficulté (ALED) (Administration and Liquidation of Companies in Difficulty) Master's degree.
Candidates must provide proof of a traineeship in a firm of at least 30 months and validated by an insolvency practitioner. The traineeship may not begin until after the A.L.E.D. Master's degree has been obtained.
Once the internship and the ALED diploma have been validated, candidates officially become an insolvency practitioner.

Once you have passed your traineeship entrance exam :
You must send the secretariat of the Commission nationale d’inscription et de discipline des administrateurs judiciaires et des mandataires judiciaires your training agreement entered into with your training supervisor, together with proof of identity and the certificate of successful completion of the professional traineeship entrance examination, for entry on the traineeship register.

You must send your training agreement signed with your training supervisor to the Commission’s secretariat so that it can be entered in the traineeship register.
The traineeship agreement must comply with the formal requirements set out in article R811-16 et seq. of the French Commercial Code..
The traineeship lasts a minimum of three years and a maximum of 6 years.

The Government Commissioner issues a certificate of completion of the traineeship after the trainee has submitted proof of completion of the traineeship. Proof of completion must be sent at the end of the traineeship. Any proof of completion sent during the traineeship will be considered null and void.

Registration for the examination session is set at least 4 months before the date of the first examination by publication of an order by the Minister of Justice in the Journal officiel. The order also sets a deadline for the submission of documents.
