Serving the French economy
and French businesses

The day-to-day work of Insolvency Practitioners, specialists in economics and law, is a driving force in modernising the French economy and strengthening companies. They enable business failures to be dealt with in accordance with the law and with the aim of safeguarding business and employment.

Insolvency practitioners make a major contribution to preserving jobs through the continuation of business and the development of recovery plans: every year, between 150,000 and 200,000 jobs are saved as a result of collective proceedings.

Insolvency practitioners also help to create new jobs via the conversion of industrial sites, the takeover of businesses by new investors, the intergenerational transfer of businesses and the recovery of supplier debts.

Over the last 10 years, an average of almost 70% of threatened jobs have been saved through these procedures.
